The ECO4 scheme is open to several different qualifying resident types (including homeowners and some eligible pensioners).

You may also be eligible for an ECO4 grant if you are a core group customer from scheme year 12 under the Warm Home Discount Scheme.

There are two other requirements that you’ll need to meet to qualify for the scheme. Firstly, you must be a homeowner or a tenant. Secondly, if you have an old inefficient boiler or heating system.

Where Can I Apply For A Free Boiler?

You can get ECO funding by applying online with a registered installer. Applying for a grant is a simple process – you will be asked a few questions to see if your property meets the scheme eligibility criteria. Grants are to help with the cost of insulation, heating and energy efficiency measures – you will usually get an immediate indication regarding your eligibility.
